Define poo a bit more specifically. How do the other Source games run?

Hi Paul,
Currently Day of Defeat is missing a lot of the sky textures, stuff is flashing and artifacting all over the place. I am using the latest Vista drivers from Nvidia's beta site. I have, further, pushed down the direct X level to 8.1, 8.0, 7 etc. All to no avail. The lower levels actually just crash the game.
I have not tried any of the other games because, to be honest, it's really all I am playing. I also have tried giving myself full administrative rights to the steam folder.
Any suggestions?
Thanks, Johnathon

I went to the steam suport before I installed beta 2 and it says that STEAM is NOT compatible with vista as of yet. Guess we just have to wait till they come out with a steam platform that supports vista and its capabilities. Zach

Steam works just fine, HL2:EP1 plays okay, although slower than XP, for me. -- Andrew, contact via http://interpleb.googlepages.com Help make Usenet a better place: English is read downwards, please don't top post.
